Soarin’ Tones Entertainment, formerly known as TULOC Entertainment, is an independent record label founded and operated by musician and producer, Tak Jovendrake.
It began as a simple production unit TULOC Entertainment in early 2000’s to help promote Jovendrake’s guitar-driven instrumental rock music.
The production underwent a name change in 2009 which resulted in the birth of Soarin’ Tones Entertainment.
At Soarin’ Tones, we strive to keep our music honest and timeless.

As a musician, all I’ve ever wanted to do was simply to keep making the music that I was happy with, and was proud of. Of course, the reality is that many of the companies in the music industry today wouldn’t quite allow you to do just what you want all the time. I have been told that repeatedly myself, so I know firsthand just how frustrating that can be. On the one hand, record companies must be able to accommodate their featured artists as much as possible where their creative freedom is concerned. But on the other hand, running a record label is still a business and, thus, they need to make sure they are able to make a profit from the artists that they sign.
I get that.
But I’m a creative entity and, when I made the mistake of allowing the industry to influence the way I created my art, it didn’t take that long at all before I was really unhappy. I even considered retiring from music altogether. I couldn’t do that, though, because I loved music way too much to let it go like that. Thankfully, I was able to get back to my old self as time went by, and today I get to approach music with nothing but positivity and love like I once did. It’s a great feeling.
It is, therefore, my wish to make Soarin’ Tones Entertainment a label where artists, including myself, get to retain as much creative control as possible, and where we get to keep on creating the music that we, ourselves, can love and be proud of. For this reason, I am actually not aiming to make this establishment a huge record company. Rather, my ultimate goal is to make this company a one-of-a-kind label for one-of-a-kind musicians.
I am not the type of producer who will try to change your unique styles as artists. I’d like to do my utmost to respect your wish as musicians to create music the way you want. If I ever notice there is room for improvement in your work, I will do my best to remain as constructive and encouraging as possible while guiding you toward the path that you want to go on. The reason for all that is quite simple, actually. Because, if you are truly happy with what you create as artists, if you truly believe in the art you create, your art can remain honest. And an honest song is what grabs another’s heart like no other which then becomes a timeless masterpiece.
